The Senaru Crater Rim 2 Days 1 Night trekking package is the perfect choice for those who want to explore the beauty of Mount Rinjani in a short time. Ideal for beginners and travelers with limited schedules, this program offers a scenic journey starting from Senaru Village, passing through a lush tropical rainforest with fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings.

 

The highlight of this trek is reaching the spectacular Senaru Crater Rim, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Segara Anak Lake, Mount Barujari, and the surrounding landscapes. Spending the night at the crater rim while enjoying sunset and sunrise creates an unforgettable experience above the clouds.

Day 0: Welcome to Lombok

Upon your arrival in Lombok (Airport, Mataram, Senggigi and Bangsal), our team will greet you and transfer you by private car to your selected hotel in Senaru. There, you will meet your professional guide who will brief you about the trekking procedures before the climb.

Day 1: Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 meters above sea level)

  • Start your day with breakfast at the hotel at 6:30 AM before preparing for your Mount Rinjani trekking adventure.
  • After breakfast, complete your trekking registration at the main gate of Mount Rinjani National Park.
  • Begin your hike to Post 1 (915 meters), walking through a beautiful tropical rainforest for approximately one hour.
  • Take a short 15-minute break at Post 1 before continuing your trek to Post 2.
  • Reach Post 2 (1,500 meters) after another hour of hiking and enjoy a longer rest along with lunch.
  • Continue trekking for about two hours to Post 3 (2,000 meters), followed by a short rest to recover energy.
  • From Post 3, hike uphill for approximately 1.5 hours toward the Sembalun Crater Rim.
  • Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,641 meters) around 4:30 PM and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Experience stunning scenery including Segara Anak Lake, the Gili Islands, and Mount Agung in Bali.
  • End your day with dinner at the crater rim while enjoying an unforgettable sunset before resting for the night.

Day 2: Senaru Village (601 meters above sea level)

  • Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise at Mount Rinjani.
  • Enjoy your breakfast while taking in the stunning mountain scenery.
  • Begin your descent toward Senaru Village, passing through lush tropical forest trails.
  • Continue trekking downhill for approximately 4 hours with a lunch break at Post 2.
  • Arrive at Senaru Village and relax after completing your trek.
  • Meet your driver at Senaru Village for transfer to your next destination in Lombok (Airport, Mataram, Senggigi and Bangsal).

Please keep your backpack light and carry only daily essentials such as water, rain gear, snacks, camera, and personal items. Our porters will carry shared camping equipment and meals during the trek.

We also encourage eco friendly trekking by reducing single use plastic waste and using refillable water bottles whenever possible.
